We have developed an intuitive and functional multi-hole passe-partout configurator.
You will be able to build your passe-partout model down to the smallest detail by setting up to 64 holes on a single sheet with a customised size for each hole.
You can manage up to 3 superimposed passe-partout levels by setting the visible part of each level.
Configuration panel.
In this section it is possible to define the configuration of our customised passe-partout.
1. Measurements / Arrangement of holes
The first thing to configure is the layout (columns x rows) for the holes. We can choose up to a maximum of 64 holes by setting how many holes we want per column and per row.
For example if we want only one hole we will choose the layout 1x1 if we want 6 holes we can choose if we want 2x3 or 3x2 and so on.
Once we have chosen the layout and clicked on update layout at the bottom the fields to set the measures of each photo will appear.
We can decide to set a different size for each hole if we want.In addition, the configuration of hole number 1 can be applied to all other holes.
In this way, if we want to quickly set the same configuration for all the holes, it will be sufficient to set it in the first hole and then apply it to the others.
We can always go and modify the measurements of each hole individually. In addition, each hole can be activated or deactivated.
Holes that are deactivated will not be cut.In this way we can create creative and asymmetrical layouts.
2. Passe-partout types
We can set up to 3 overlapping passe-partout layers and decide the visible part of each layer.
The order of the layers is as follows:
layer 1 is the first visible, layer 2 is placed below layer 1 and layer 3 is placed below layer 2.
The hole we have set in the hole layout is made in the last layer, while the holes in the upper layers will be calculated automatically to show the desired visible part.
3. Margins / Spacing
We can set the outer margins of the borders.
The minimum size is 25 mm. and we can differentiate the margins of the top, bottom, left and right borders.
We can also decide the spacing between the holes, differentiating between horizontal and vertical space.
The minimum spacing between holes is 10 mm.Finally, we can also adjust the base and height dimensions of the passe-partout.
The base and height dimensions change dynamically according to the values of the edge margins, spacing and holes.
We can also force customised measurements. In any case, the maximum size of the passe-partout board is 120x80 cm or 80x120 cm.
